In observance of World Hepatitis Day, the April Foundation, in collaboration with the Faculty of Science at the University of Tripoli, hosted a scientific symposium. The event was held under the auspices of the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) and the International Relief Committee (IRC). The symposium served as a platform for discussing the latest advancements in hepatitis research, promoting awareness, and encouraging preventive measures against this global health issue.
Objective:
The symposium aimed to unite researchers, healthcare professionals, students, and the broader community to explore the scientific and medical aspects of hepatitis. The event’s objective was to enhance understanding of the disease, share research developments, and support the global effort to eliminate hepatitis by 2030, in line with the World Health Organization’s (WHO) goals.
