The April Foundation team recently completed a Training of Trainers (ToT) program as part of the “Not His Place” campaign, an initiative focused on raising awareness about gender-based violence. This training was organized by the DRC organization and supervised by the State of Sweden, ensuring high standards and a comprehensive curriculum. The training equipped the April Foundation members with advanced facilitation skills, enabling them to effectively conduct workshops, lead discussions, and engage with diverse audiences. As a result, the team is now better prepared to implement the campaign’s objectives, which include educating communities on the importance of gender equality and empowering individuals to take a stand against violence. This training marks a significant step forward in the Foundation’s mission to create lasting social change through education and advocacy.
